^Lot 22 Ghera Benn - Abstract Landscape Painting

Item/Description: Original abstract landscape painting. Signed lower left and en verso: ghera. Museum label adhered en verso reads in part: Uri and Rami Nehostan, the Art Museum in Ashdot Yaacov, Israel.
Ghera Benn (Russian / French) was a musician and dancer of Russian origin. She met the artist Benn (Rabinowicz Benejou 1905-1989) in 1930 and became his model and muse. They married in 1938.

Dimensions: Image size: Height: 14 1/2"; Width: 17 3/4". Unframed.

Condition: Signs of age and wear include paint loss, chipping, discoloration and surface scratches.
